Shepard Fairey admits fault in AP Legal Action
In the juggernaut that was the Obama campaign and is New Washington, perception is everything and the end justifies the means. That is, until it all catches up to the guilty.
The case of Shepard Fairey is a good example. Forced to admit that he plagiarized the Associated Press and photographer Mannie Garcia, Fairey may be hoping against hope that his past remains as hidden as his source for the Hope poster. Below is just one prior instance – from the movie 1984 – but there are many examples of his “borrowing” someone else’s artwork.
One has to wonder if Obama or his staff knew that Fairey was a clepto-artist, or if they would care…
